The Full Story is Coming...

I find that the most beautiful creative journeys often begin by accident. That was certainly the case with this one. It started as a play on the rather bougie TikTok trend of outfit styling videos that would flood my feed, a sea of designer brands, all starting with the same line: "let's get dressed".

But rather than Gucci or Balenciaga, I turned this trend on its head and set it on the backdrop of a world at war. One of rationing and making do and mending.

Unexpectedly, this 'talking heads' type content captivated the hearts of millions and, over time, became something more. I listened to my audience and that is how it organically grew into the story of two women forming a romantic bond during the 1940s.

Every Sunday thousands of viewers would tune into their journey, cheering them on, crying with them, and eagerly awaiting each new chapter.

With that, I bring to you today the 100 episodes of this light-hearted fashion series which transformed into a deeply emotional tale. Ready to enjoy without needing the clock app!

My aim with this story, is to eventually reboot it, either as a Radio Play or a Web Series, but for now, please enjoy the original series from TikTok, a glimpse into the world of Betty and Evelyn, their love, struggles, and the challenges of living authentically in a time of great societal change.

Something much more meaningful than simply getting dressed.

Synopsis
