But there's absolutely no pressure to join! A membership is simply a way for me to give people more (if they want it)  in a broader way than platforms like Patreon could ever offer me. Plus, it means that I can remain in control of how I want to present myself, I can actually help people, and, candidly, I can earn extra income to put back into the making of my videos. And yes, arguably I could earn extra funds through YouTube sponsorships or affiliate links, but often, the brands that reach out just don't align with my core values. However, this way I can try and offer more, build a community, and keep it all on my terms.
